not a privilege

Who We Are

Lucy’s Pantry is a community-led food membership service that helps individuals and families access fresh, healthy food at affordable prices.

Designed to provide a practical alternative to traditional food aid, the pantry offers members greater choice, flexibility, and value while fostering a welcoming sense of community. Alongside affordable food, members can connect with local support, opportunities, and services that help strengthen wellbeing and resilience.

By putting dignity, choice, and community at the heart of what we do, Lucy’s Pantry is helping create a fairer and more connected future for local people.

Members Say

Lucy’s Pantry has been a lifeline for me and my kids. Being a single mum isn't easy, but knowing I can come here each week for affordable food and a friendly face makes a huge difference. It’s more than a pantry, it’s a community.

Sarah, Pantry Member

At my age, it’s hard to ask for help. But Lucy’s Pantry welcomed me without judgment. I’ve not only saved money. I’ve made new friends, shared recipes, and feel like I’m part of something that matters.

John, Pantry Member

I moved to Walsall not knowing anyone. Lucy’s Pantry helped me get through some tough weeks with food, kindness, and even advice. It’s a safe, respectful place that helped me feel supported.
